The Victron Centaur 12V 50A Battery Charger is a professional-grade marine and industrial battery charger designed to provide fast, reliable charging for multiple battery banks. Engineered with a robust aluminium housing, corrosion-resistant components, and universal AC input, the Centaur is ideal for boats, motorhomes, commercial vehicles, off-grid systems, and demanding industrial applications.
Featuring three fully isolated charging outputs, the Centaur can simultaneously charge up to three separate battery banks, with each output capable of delivering the charger's full rated current when required. Its fully automatic three-stage charging process (Bulk, Absorption, Float) ensures batteries are charged efficiently while maximising battery lifespan. The charger supports Flooded, AGM, and Gel batteries, with selectable charging profiles via internal DIP switches.
Unlike many chargers claiming universal input capability, the Centaur maintains full rated output across an exceptionally wide AC input range of 90–265V AC, making it suitable for worldwide use and generator-powered installations. It can also operate from a DC input source between 90–400V DC.
